Nevermind reinterprets 90’s Grunge for a new generation, running the agnostic sensibilities of the scene’s pioneers through a modern lens for a youth with infinitely more style, music and cultural references which finds itself constantly switching between always and never minding, empowered and paralysed, by an ever more complicated world.
I.D.S.T (IF DESTROYED STILL TRUE)
At school and in the streets around the time of grunge and rave culture it was common to see the abbreviation I.D.S.T written on anything and everything. It symbolised meaning and ownership, thoughts and feelings - Adolescent values. An effective reminder of how we place importance in things we cannot control - In chaos you can take away physical possessions and even restrict physical contact but these things remain true in the mind.
